1. Introduction #
Conversational bots are revolutionizing user interactions, and it’s important for users to feel like they’re talking to a human rather than a machine. When users enter their queries, they expect accurate and relevant responses in a timely manner. The Responses Dashboard in Floatchat provides analytics to help you track and understand the effectiveness of your chatbot in answering user queries. It presents aggregated data on metrics such as the number of questions asked and answered, allowing you to assess the quality of responses.
You can filter the data on this page based on the selected date range using the date filter provided at the top of the dashboard.
2. Accessibility #
You can find the BotResponses Dashboard in the Analytics section of Floatchat’s navigation. It is available to all users, regardless of their allocated plan.
3. Response Metrics #
This module presents key metrics that are relevant for monitoring the efficiency of your chatbot. Any interaction from a user, whether it’s entering a text query or selecting an option by clicking a button, is counted as an interaction with the bot. Here’s a quick description of the included metrics:
- Total questions asked: This represents the overall number of questions asked by all users within a specific time period.
- Total questions answered: This metric provides information on the total number of questions that the bot successfully answered.
- Total questions unanswered: This metric indicates the number of questions for which the bot triggered a default response. This usually happens when the bot couldn’t find a suitable response for the user’s query. By knowing the number of unanswered questions, you can focus on training the bot and adding more frequently asked questions (FAQs) to reduce the unanswered count.
To easily find unanswered queries, you can click on the metrics for unanswered and answered queries. This will redirect you to the Train Workflow with the appropriate interactions filtered based on your selection.
4. Answered VS Unanswered Trend #
In addition to providing aggregated information for a specific timeline, Floatchat also displays a running trend of answered versus unanswered queries. You can use this graph to monitor any increase in the number of unanswered queries. If you notice such a trend, it may be a good idea to review the unanswered queries and improve the bot’s training to handle those scenarios more effectively.
