Release Notes #
As part of our monthly deployments, we had a release on July 5, 2022, that brought various enhancements and resolved customer requests, further improving the Floatchat platform. We are committed to addressing our customers’ needs and continuously enhancing our platform to meet their requirements and use cases.
Here is a summary of the changes made in this release: #
Core Platform #
– WhatsApp Rapid: We introduced WhatsApp Rapid as a new plan, enabling SMEs to rapidly scale their businesses using WhatsApp for lead generation and support.
Broadcast and Campaign Analytics: Detailed reports for WhatsApp and Instagram channels are now accessible to customers, providing valuable insights into their campaigns’ performance.
Live Chat #
– User Import: We improved the user import functionality to ensure a smoother experience for accounts with large uploads. The speed of file import has been increased, minimizing any impact on other accounts.
– Conversation Assignment Logic: We enhanced the conversation assignment logic from the Unassigned queue, particularly for supervisors, improving the overall workflow.
Bot UI #
– Localisation Attributes: Bot name and several other localisation attributes now get localised according to the user’s selected language, enhancing the user experience.
– WhatsApp Commerce: We made further improvements to WhatsApp Commerce and rolled it out in the beta stage. If you require access to the beta, please reach out to us at email@example.com.
Facebook and Instagram: We deepened our support for Facebook and Instagram. Comment automation support was provided for FB ads, and Oneview support for Instagram stickers and product messages was introduced.
– WhatsApp Account Metrics: Customers using 360dialog will now have access to their WhatsApp account quality and usage details under the Configure > Deployment > WhatsApp section, providing valuable insights into their account performance.
– SMS Channel: We improved the functionality of the SMS channel and added missing functionalities to enhance the overall SMS experience.
Mobile App #
– Salesforce Page Integration: We deepened the functionality and integrations of the Mobile App by including a Salesforce Page with ticket options, providing seamless access to customer support features.
– Social Login: On Android, we introduced social login with Google sign-in option, allowing users to easily log in to the app.
– Engagement Triggers: We added engagement triggers, empowering users to automate interactions based on specific triggers. Additionally, preview options for images and files on Instagram were introduced for a more interactive experience.
Floatchat Offering: To provide potential customers with the opportunity to trial the Floatchat offering on Shopify, a free plan was added to the Shopify Public app store. We addressed customer issues, incorporated feedback, and made enhancements to enhance the overall user experience.
